What it does

  • Webhooks POST the full JSON event to any URL
  • Signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-Rirofeed-Signature header
  • The event name is in the X-Rirofeed-Event header
  • Retried up to three times with backoff, and logged so you can resend
  • API keys per workspace for the REST API

Set it up in a few minutes

  1. In Rirofeed, go to Integrations, choose Webhook, enter your endpoint URL and a signing secret.
  2. Verify each request: compute the HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body with your secret and compare it with the signature header.
  3. For the API, create a key in your workspace settings and send it as a Bearer token.

How do I verify a Rirofeed webhook?

Compute an HMAC-SHA256 of the raw request body using your signing secret, and compare it with the X-Rirofeed-Signature header, which is sha256= followed by the hex digest.

Do responses posted through the API sync to my CRM?

Yes. A response recorded through the API is treated like any other, so it reaches your dashboard, integrations and automations.

What happens if a delivery fails?

Rirofeed tries each delivery up to three times, waiting longer between attempts. Every delivery is logged with its result, so you can see what was sent and resend it.
